This is my daughter. We were at San Pedro (the little town I was telling you about in my other post)... I converted them to B&W in PS.

Love the second one. I'd love it more if you straightened it out though. :)

What a cutie and some great shots! That second one is definitely improved by staightening. Good job.

Nice. I like the first one. Personally I'd try to keep her shadow in frame but I'd surely open up the aperture so the background would blur.
Why straighten an image just because the sidewalk says so? I say the original looks just fine. Straight and horizontal lines are boring, stable, but boring. :D
Also, I've stopped cropping/rotating my images, I sometimes allow myself to crop a few percent, becasue the viewfinder doesn't show 100%.

It would be interesting to blur the background a little...
About cropping, I didnīt crop these images, I like them as they are complete ;)

I really like the second one. That photo needs framing and sticking up on a wall somewhere. The balance and mood just really work for me. Wish I could get my kids to sit still that long. :)

She sat that still cuz she was waiting for her Daddy to bring her a ball, so she was like "ok, Iīll sit here while I am waitting" lol
