Posting sunsets, that is. Here are a couple that I like. The first is from Glacier National Park, the second from Fort DeSoto Park (on an island in the mouth of Tampa Bay, near St Petersburg).

Sparker, those mountains...
...surreal
...stunning
The colors in the second are awesome.
I'm with Mills. I can't pick a favorite but if forced, I'd have to give the edge to #1.

Ditto what everyone else has said. Great shots. So since my sister lives in Bradenton, and that's pretty close to Tampa, it looks like I'll have to put Fort DeSoto park on my "to go" list.
Nice colors on these shots!

Thanks for your comments everyone.
James, Fort DeSoto Park is definitely a place I'd recommend to you, and it's not that far from Bradenton. Not much left of the fort itself, but still interesting. Great beach and bayous for kayaking (rentals available), lots of birds around (plus raccoons), wonderful campground if that's of interest. Numerous state parks fairly close to Bradenton, also.

Thanks again. As fate would have it, we were back at Ft DeSoto Park today. However, we left when heavy clouds rolled in late afternoon, no sunset was possible.
