The big problem now is my Add/remove program in control panel for my windows vista. It was there always, just today i wanted to delete some junk off my PC that i dont need and its just gone! what can i do? i looked around on the internet but couldn't really find much.
hopefully someone knows how i can get this back.

This should be a lesson to you.. DONT BUY A PC!!
turn it in and get a mac.. backup your stuff andbring it to the mac genuis bar and they will put everthing on your NEW computer for you..
When you say its all gone.. you mean the junk you were going to delete anyway?? or actual stuff that you dont want to be gone..
if you need to recover things that are gone, then you have to bring it in to a computer guy.. you can DEFINITELY bring it in under warranty from where ever you got it.. THEN once they fix it, return it and GET A MAC
just a thought.. how long does the average PC last?? I dont know many who have one that is over 3 years old.. MAYBE 4 - but thats pushing it..
We have a 10 year old Mac G4 that literally runs as good as my brand new mac book pro.. the ONLY thing it has issues with is large raw image files.. which is understandable. When it was made, the biggest pixel camera you could get is a 4mp and that was thousands of dollars. BUT, i have a new operating system on it and it runs on the internet as fast as anything else.
on the other hand, at my work, i use a 6 month old PC and i want to throw it out the window.. ALREADY

It is just pitiful how some people see every PC problem as an opportunity to promote their own preferred brand. They pretend to help the OP, but actually they add insult to injury.
OP, instead of plunking down $1000+ for a new machine that supposedly has no faults, why don't you try the simple steps here. (http://www.zolved.com/synapse/view_content/24893/Why_cant_I_find_Add_Remove_programs_in_Windows_Vis ta)
