I'm going to the Chicago Auto Show this morning and am planning on getting some shots of the cars with my A75 using my tripod. My question is will I get better pics if I set my cam on TV and set my shutter speed to maybe 1 sec.. I'm thinking this way I won't have to use the flash. Am I correct in assuming this? I don't care if the people in the background are blurred.

No, what you want to do is set the camera to Av so that you can select the appropriate aperture. You can then let the dice fall where they will as far as shutter speed is concerned. Since the cars won't be going anywhere, motion blur won't be a problem although if there are models beside the cars, then it might be if you also wanted to include the models in the shot.

Gotcha, Pac. I'll give those dice a roll. I'm heading out the door now. I'll post the pics later. Thanks.

Go High ISO!
NoiseWare and Neat Image both have free home-use versions for noise removal.

Go High ISO! Not me! He says, "with my A75 using my tripod." Can he do time exposures with a A75? I used my tripod at ISO 100, 2.5 sec @ f-13 to get the "Black custom Harley" shot. No noise at all! ;-)
