The Class 7a 8th ranked Harlem Huskies went to the Pretzel Bowl in Freeport to take on the high powered passing offense of the Freeport Pretzels. Great game with Harlem winning 42-30 to go to 7-0 in conference.

The ambient lighting at ISO 1000 f2.8 was about 1/100 so I use an onboard Canon 550EX speedlight set to ETTL, ISO of 800 aperture priority of 2.8 which gives me a flash sync shutter speed of 1/250 with my 40D.

Thanks. I thought the orange jerseys are a tad oversaturated but they appeared to be a slightly different material which had had a sheen to it.

Nice shots Chris, I am still struggling with flashed night football, mine tend to go OOF right when I snap the shutter, not sure why as I have the AF seperated from the shutter with the * button.

An I agree with the Freeport uniforms they did have a little sheen to them.

Good timing Chris. They do look a bit saturated and heavy on the contrast on my monitor. Have you tried M on your flash? I find I get better results on M then ETTL.
