Purchased a couple poster templates. Here is my first go of it while using my youngest as my subject!
I let him pic out the photos to use and the fonts/colors.
C&C Most Welcome.

Like the set up, but is black the right colour for the edging?

I like the setup but the photos lack emotion. It looks like you are trying to so so photos and trying to dress them up with fancy graphics. Take some high energy action photos and see what happens.

Like I said, my son picked out the photo's and colors.

looks good. Some of the smaller images seem to be getting distorted for some reason, might want to check onto that.

Thanks for the Kind Words. Coming from you, they mean alot! Your work is head and shoulders above mine.
I tried to keep the aspect ratio when sizing the smaller photos, may have missed it a touch.

Viphoto that is fantastic, just to my taste. Yours is also brilliant Alan. What is the font you have used Vi for the mariners type and could you let me have a psd set up please (what a cheek lol).

When I put photos into a poster, I don't necessarily resize, I know the dimension of the final smaller image, and crop the original down, drag it into the poster and presto. Maybe that will help.
Thank YOU!!! for the kind words :)

On the older photo, the "2008" seems out of place. You have the year under the kids name. Seems the 2008 would work better if it were near the team name. In the first attempt, the #17 seems out of place because it was near the 2008.

I like them both, especially the second one and the "we're number one" shot with the award.
Agree on the aspect squeeze in the first.

Thanks Darsk!
The second photo is one of his linemates little sister. She has a Huge Crush on my son. The "'Were #1" was caught last season after winning the Nationals. It was the crowning moment in his (their) career. One of my favorite shots!

I like them overall... but agree that a couple of the images in the first one look like the aspect ratio was distorted quite a bit. You said you bought the templates? Where did you get them?
