This is my first photo of the day. It's 7:00 am, February 17, 2005, in Coates Mills, New Brunswick, Canada. It's raining and still half dark.

Every year I monitor a breeding pair of Bald Eagles one mile from my home. Today is the first day I see the pair near their nesting site. They usually produce one or two chicks every year. I take good care of them. The church is pretty old and beautiful as well.

A slender building I must say . . . I enjoy snow/cold shots, having my fair share of same . . . good luck on this years eagle crop.

Hello everyone.
Thank you for your comments. I do hope to get up close this year but with only a 300mm lenses I am very limited. So far I have only been able to get this close.
