I've been looking for a bag to lug my new 3021P base and 322RC2 head around. Sometimes it needs to be lugged a fair distance (nature oriented mostly) and it has to reside in the land cruiser with offroad recovery gear, tools, compressed CO2 tank, spare blankets, clothes, sometimes a dog, etc.
Wandering into a used sporting goods store I like, I came across a used Easton baseball bat bag. It didn't quite work, but gave me an idea about where to look. I ended up with a Worth "Deluxe Player Bag" (you can find an example on Froogle). It fits the base and head just perfectly through the bat sleeve, has metal clips, and extra pockets to toss in windbreakers, a bottle of water, snacks, whatever, but it's not excessively large. It's made with fairly rugged material and has a shoulder strap (again, metal clips). Also has fence clips. It's black and the only annoyance is the conspicuous large white logos written over it. Fabric paint or black duct tape might do the trick.
Best of all, it was on clearance at a local Gart Sports for USD $9.97 from $29.97!
Cheers- Ken
