I recently bought the 300 D to take advantage of the £100 cash back offer.I am still waiting for the cheque.Has anyone else had similar difficulty.

Same here Ivan. I posted mine off on the 31/01/2005 but still haven't had anything back :(

I even sent it special delivery so that I could track it online so I know its been delivered.

I guess they've probably been flooded with people sending in their forms before the closing date which I think is the end of this month.

Most of that thread concentrates ont eh US rebate... i think it's worth keeping this one as the UK cashback.

I sent mine in on about 15 Jan and have heard nothing back. I heard that their BACS payment system fell apart and they're only doing cheques now (which is what I requested anyway).

It typically takes 12 weeks to get a rebate back on things like this. It took me over 2 months to get a $50 rebate on a Canon i960 printer.

Thank you for your help .I purchased the 300 D at a local camera shop so I`m hoping they will be able to help.Glad I`m not the only one.By the way I requested a cheque

I purchased my 300D in early Jan and received a cheque in early Feb as their BACS system had collapsed. The trouble was that the received cheque had my surname mispelt & of course, the bank wouldn't accept it. After calling the helpline, I was advised to return the cheque which I did and within 10 days I had a replacement.

My impression was, after talking to the helpline, was that they had quite a few to get through. Hopefully yours will be on its way :)

An update on my rebate... it arrived today. So that's posted on 11 Jan and received on Feb 22.

I have quite a few Photo`s of my little grand-daughter.Any thoughts on where I might be able to send copies for publication ,competition etc.
