A friend took Clover to a hunter trial today. I was so tempted to take him myself, but I've only ridden 4 times since I broke my leg, so probably too early. Anyway here are some pics.

Your horse is beautiful! The second picture is my favorite. It seems to have the best background and he looks so perky and focused. Great job!

I agree with Katiana I like the second one best.
BTW The mount is beautiful, Might I ask why the coat looks so different around the face and lower legs? Is that sweat? (not very familiar with the equine persuasion) :)

The horse is a dark bay, so the black legs are a trait of the color, but yet it looks like he's sweating quite a bit, you can see the lather by his breast collar and the veins.
Very nice horse, looks like he's in awesome shape! I like the second one as well, he looks attentive and focused and legs are square.

Thanks- I think he's incredibly special. jverran- I think the difference you mean is that he's clipped- that is he's had a hair cut on his body as he grows a thick winter coat which has to be shaved otherwise he'd get even sweatier. Most horses that work hard through the winter and are able to be stabled when it's cold get clipped- makes them much more comfortable when they're working.
