I was asked to take a few pictures of him for an upcoming conference and I was caught off guard.

I asked him to stand in front of the large media screen we have in our Conf Room so I have a nice neutral background. I need to insert something behind him to make it look like a studio portrait.

Does anyone know of a website to download something or something in Adobe Photoshop (I have V7) that I can use as a background?

Please help..

There's an "abstract" I believe, and a "lighting" category over at www.sxc.hu - you might find something there. Any chance you could set up something and take a photo. That way you could have mroe control over the lighting you use for the background and make it more closely match the pic, perhaps.

Why not shoot your own background? Maybe throw it way out of focus?

Go into photoshop. Do a solid colour fill and then play around with the clouds filter, give it a blur, maybe add something from the lighting filter. As long as you make a good job of extracting him from the existing background, the other bit is easy.
