Bogen 233B

I have decided to purchase a flash bracket and am looking at the Bogen/Manfrotto 233 B. What type of ballhead would work best for mounting a Sigma EF 500 DG Super?

Any of them - it's not that heavy that you need worry about getting one sturdy enough. I'd be more concerned with choosing one for dual-use, with your cameraand tripod as well. If you plan to leave it permanently on the bracket though, I'd say the 482, which is the smallest of the bunch.
