Today the Oban Times, tomorrow the World!

I was contacted today by Maggie McPhee, mother of John McPhee, this years 125 Scottish Champion in only his second season asking for permission to use one of my photos in the Oban Times. Having never been published in the press before, of course I agreed. So along with stories of lorry drivers being fined for throwing their crusts out of their cab window and the catching of a 160lb skate, I'll have a picture on this illustrious title this week. :lol:

And well done to John, looks like he'll go on to bigger things. Watching him on Saturday at East Fortune, he does have what it takes to win at any level (he was way ahead in the NEMCRC 125 Championships as well).

Thanks chaps, much appreciated. Apparently he actually won 4 different championships. Not bad for just his second year racing.
