Dont know baout the SDK 6.1 and delphi 7

but t oset the 9 point AF mode, press the AF frame button, it should be just below the 4 arrow buttons and should have "SET" and a square with four dots in it.

When you have pressed this the AF frame should change to green. Now use your black spinning dial just behind the shutter button to switch between centred AF frame or 9 point AF.
