Hello Everyone,
I have joined these forums after looking at many helpful threads over the last couple weeks.
After looking for an inexpensive but quality camera that can take nice macros and serve as a great all-around camera, I chose the
Canon Powershot A590is.
I snapped a couple macros with it already, and it is very impressive. This camera definitely ranks high in the 'bang for the buck' category.
My favorite photos to take are macros of flowers and insects. I don't have plans to buy an SLR, so I am just going to learn to get the most out of my a590.
