I am about to pickup a nice 1D MKII from a fellow member here and I need to upgrade my tripod. Any recommendations? Currently my largest lenses are the 70-200mm f4 L IS and 200 f2.8 L. I have a tripod collar for the 200mm.

Edit.....I would like to stay sub-$200.

And I am 6ft tall.

Is that for tripod legs AND head, or just the legs?

Tripod and legs. Is sub-$200 unreasonable?

Well..... lets just say that sub-$300 would be A LOT better...

Then I (and many others here) would say Bogen 055XPRO, and a Bogen 488RC2 ballhead.

How does this kit look? Will it be beefy enough for a 1D + lens?
