Here are some shots form Saturday night game. This is the first game with my 100-400.
I was able to get the iso down to 1000 and still have good shutter speeds. As always looking for your tips to help me improve.

Not bad for a 100-400 lens. I had that lens coupled with a 30D last year and the pics were not nearly as good as yours. I now have the 40D and I just purchased the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 lens and cant wait to see what that combo does. I think the 40D is a way better camera than the 30D.
The only way I can see you doing any better is getting a f2.8 lens.

They seem to have the arena lit really well, These seem too bright to me but nothing is blown out.
Last year I used my 70-200 f4.0. I didn't like the reach, found that I was cropping a lot. After buying my Camera I can only afford the cheap seats up top.
