Hey swatcop169 your images are getting better. A couple of points crop tighter, really tight to isolate the a action. For me, in order for a picture to work well for hockey you
need to have the puck and players from both teams in the frame. Can you post the original picture for me without any crop or adjustments to it for me please I think there is a better picture in there than what both of us have done.
The other point is to adjust the picture for curves or levels if you prefer. The picture neede to be lightned up. Let me know what you think.
Cheers

Hey swatcop169 what image editing program are you using? I adjusted your picture what did you think of the ice in that one?
Can you post the original uncropped picture?
Cheers

Nice collection, copper! 2 and 4 are particularly good, IMO.

Hey man are you trying to kill me I am on dial up. OK I should have said can you post the original picture untouched but resize it do it fits down my skinny phone line. Size it the same as the others maybe 5x7 at 72 DPI I should be able manage that.
Cheers

Sorry about that, the link above has it at 800 x 600 so you shouldn't have any problems with it.

I don't know if this is any better. It has players entering the frame which helps to create tension. If the puck was in the frame it would be even better. Your focus is off if you notice player #17 is sharp. You may want to set your focus to center only and don't have it expanded.

My camera never goes off center focus. Only time is when I'm doing indoor shots of products. I like that better.
I'm going tomorrow to get a book on PS CS. Hopefully it will helpout alot.
