Just picked up this lens second hand and had to get right out to test it. But the morning light with the church across the street was beastly -- so what else to do but HDR?
I think I'm gonna like this lens...

Awesome shot; you couldn't have accomplished that same effect without that lens, for sure! Nice real looking HDR also, love those shadows.

Nice shot, I personally would've processed the church area to be a bit more contrasty, excellent exposure though.

have to agree that it look really realistic instead of hdr.

have to agree that it look really realistic instead of hdr.I think the sky gives it away, Bill. Though not terribly obvious, it is just a bit more rich a color than usual, I think.

You are going to love the 10-22!!I'm really amazed at how nice it is.I'm hoping to get out tomorrow and really put it through its paces, and get some HDR landscapes.

My 10-22 is on my camera 90% of the time. And it's not because I don't have any other nice glass...

My 10-22 is on my camera 90% of the time. And it's not because I don't have any other nice glass...I can sure understand why. Between this and the 70-200 f4 IS, I may get rid of everything else!
