These sisters love to train the new steps they have learned in the last lesson. They have a lot of fun to repeat and to repeat and to repeat. And during one little break they posed for dad who had to test his equipment again and again and again. ;)

very nice picture, I really like the mood and BW works really nice.
I particularly like the lighting, especially the effect on the hair of the younger girl.
Also, she's adorable! She has such an innocent smile.

Technical question ... It looks a bit grainy, did you add an effect to it? ISO 400 shouldn't be that noisy on the 10D.

thank you very much for your comments. You are right the BW version of this photo seems to be much more grainy as the original. I post it here for comparison. My only explanation is that the filter I used for the conversion to BW is the cause for this. Normally this filter is used to imitate an infrared feeling of the photo.

do a 1 pixel 100% USM on that, and watch their eyes jump out ;)

Nice shot, I think I like the color version better, it's warmer and seems to suit the mood more. Just my opinion.
