As you can probably see, this has been heavily PP'ed.

Any thoughts about the shot and the pp? It was quite an overcast day, and a grey sky just doesnt look good to me.

Bit too much dead space at the bottom, the sky looks unnatural, also lots of noise visible in the sky, as it was only iso200 I guess the noise much come from whatever PP was done.

That's about the most unreal and poor choice of color for a sky...

The foreground and the footprints heading down to the water are all reasonably interesting.

Fix the cyan sky and water and come back!

OK, lets try again.
I redid the edit from the original, and a tighter crop.

edit: I also applied HEAVY noise reduction on the sky, thats where the bluryness comes from.

Much better than the original. I personally find the foreground quite interesting, but am turned off by the sky/sea combination. The blue still isnt quite right. maybe youre stretching the image a bit to far by trying to pull a blue sky from an overcast day...Im no expert, just some thoughts. Im still noticing noise in the sky, maybe go all out with this and ADD some grain and make this a gritty/old type image...might be worth playing with.
