View Full Version : Senior member... me?!

My status seems to have changed to "senior member". It seem that by sticking around, asking loads of dumb questions, and stating my opinion loudly over and over I become senior member. At least I can repeat the advice that knowledgable members have posted, and maybe even add a thing or two from my own experience some time... nice :)

I may have had a drink or two... these computer thingamies need breathalisers! ;)

You know what I like most about you?
Your name doesn't talke a long time to type.

Seriously, we're glad you're one of us.

BTW, according to your avatar, your looks have really gone downhill. That's what spending too much time online will do to you.

ok, now keep goin until you become super-mod :-P... Around 10,000 posts you become one with your computer.
...We all know that CDS has become one with his mainframe in Providence ;)

BTW, Pekka was saying something about some new better titles, related to photography. I'm still waiting :D

Agree'd. If Goldmember doesn't make me feel old, it reminds me of Austin Powers, James Bond, or impmlies I have a golden penis. 1 out of four isn't too bad I suppose. :D

Looking at some of the post counts in this thread makes me wonder if anyone actually has time to take pictures? :):)

Way to go. A whole heap of spam? Nah, just kidding mate. :)

At another forum I visit (not so often now, after this great one ;)), I went through several names at the different post marks, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, and finally the moderators started changing the name.. "I think I live here", which slowly got modified, and now reads:

"I think I live here - Community Pillar and Fast, Helpful Racer. And I really like sheep. BAAAAAH! [DR] Stats Admin"
The Australian moderator added in the sheep comment. LOL.
(This came from a racing game forum).

Keep up your inquisitive posts, and keep asking those questions. Maybe share some more images, ;)

A thousands posts, not a bad effort for a wellingtonian :D

VB has the ablity to create lots of differnt use profiles, and give them differnt options.

For example at a certian number of posts allow avatars, or give the ablity to choose your own title.
The last one can be quite entertaining.
Prehaps something for Peka to look into if he has the time, give the more aged members something else to entertain themselves with :D

I run a forum in New Zealand, I have it configured to give people different titles and after a certian number of posts they get to make up their own. It's interesting to see what people give themselves :)

I am passing this on to you because it has definitely worked for me. In today's hectic world we all could use a little calm. By following the simple advice I read in an article, I have finally found inner peace.

The article read: "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started."

So I looked around the house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished.... and before leaving the house this morning I finished a bottle of red wine, a bottle of white wine, the Bailey's, Kahlua and Wild Turkey, the Prozac, some Valium, some cheesecake and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freakin good I feel.... You may pass this on to those you feel are in need of Inner Peace... ;)
