I took this on the Drakensberg a while ago. It has undergone quite a bit of PP.
Does it work as an image?
How can I improve on it if at all? For me, as an image, its not very interesting. Thats why I had to do some heavy PP work to try and get something out of it to make people look twice.

It's very difficult to overcome all of the negative aspects of shooting directly into the sun. Once in a great while, it is successful....
Perhaps were it rendered dark enough to avoid most of the burned out vegetation there would still be a chance, but.... there's then the question of sharpness in the middle and background.

Try going B&W or better B&W solarized. Turn image editing on and I'll have a go at it.

A try at BW, with high contrast blue filter preset if I remember correctly.

I think B&W is probably the way to go, though I think washing the vegetation out could work as well. Anyway, here's a little bit of effort on it. I think it's an image that needs to be stylized to be of much interest.

I like that B&W edit a lot.
