After picking up the G3 and a new S820 I decided to give PS Elements a try. The bundled print software with the printer does a good job of page layout. MS Picture It really makes it simple, (landscape or portrait and then 2-5x7s or 2-4x6 or 8 wallets or 1 8x10 etc along with stretch to fit, etc.)

The question here is there a way to create page templates in PS Elements to make page layout this easy.
I under stand the vernacular of a "Canvas" and "Image" but I am confused how to simplify this task in Elements... or am I just asking the wrong thing of this program?

A link to a tutorial or recommended reading if advised would be great as well

MS Picture tries to be an editor and a print page manager, but like PhotoRecord thinks only two 4x6 prints fit on an 8.5x11 page, which is very wasteful.

PhotoShop, in all its forms, shines as an editor, but is much less than optimal as a print page manager.

If you want a professional page layout program to go with your Photoshop editor, check out QImage Pro at http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/ . It costs after 30 days but it is really phenominal for print management.
