Ummm....Am I Missing Something?

I am needing to buy another memory card for my XTi. I currently have the SanDisk Ultra II Compact Flash 2GB.

I look on eBay and see that they have an 8GB for around $20.

Is there something I am missing other than it is coming from Hing Kong?

Yeah, you could be (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=183345). Stick with reliable vendors for memory cards. After all, they're where you're entrusting your memories to.

It's not worth the trouble to save the money. Keep an eye out at your local camera & electronic stores. I buy most of my memory at Fry's Electronics, brand name stuff and occasionally some great closeout buys. Costco has also had a good deal on cards a while ago.

If you need it now just look locally for the best value, but if you are just stocking up check the ads.
