You have a winner here. Ths is your best post ever (well OK maybe the warships and a few others were better!).

But certainly this is your most intimate image and through it we gain entrance to a special time and private place. I thinkk that the exposure and softness convey the feeling of solitude.

I have to scroll the however, I am no sure on where it cuts off.

Enough said. This is is reportage at its most intimate and best.

Sorry, Griffin, but she looks likes she's choosing dim sum...

No, I'm kidding. :D

There are several distractions in this image that spoil it for me, but could be fixed:

The vases, especially the middle one, are too bright. I would try to darken those. Increasing the brightness slightly on the LHS would also reduce the extent to which the eye is drawn to the vase.

The bright highlight at the bottom left should either be cropped and cloned out.

The is also a vertical line on the left that is too close to the woman to crop, but could eaily be cloned out.

And finally, I would reduce the opacity on your copyright notice, so the white is grayed down a bit, and may be shifted it to the top left corner and rotated 90 deg clockwise to run down the side.

Without these distractions the eye focuses more on the prayer that the woman is contemplating.

You would almost pray that you wouldn't have posted this one :-)
DOF could have been better as well. It's sharp on her hair, but I would like to see at least the prayer book in focus.

Thanks for your comments, people. I figure out now what has gone wrong. :) Anyway, it is far from being my "best" shot or I guess I should have posted more often. :)

Sure there are opportunitied to strengthen this shot... and I may have presumed that the prayer book was related to my cheap glasses !

But .. for intimacy ... quiet ...solitude... privacy .. would someone please post a better shot. I cannot recall one in the recent past,

Nope, this is unique, and a welcome contrast to the hussle and bussle of HK.

And by all means post more !
