Welsh Poppy Detail.

Found this Welsh Poppy flowering today under the apple tree this morning so I brought it in and looked at various compostion options. None of the others did it for me, only this one, which was sharp enough to process and use. My tripod is losing its lock on the head, may have to get a new one today I think.

Lovely shot; the composition is just right. Looks just a tiny bit dark on my monitor (which tends to be overly bright). I wonder how it would look with the brightness and/or contrast bumped up just a tad.

I tried raising the brightness etc and curves but it seemed to me to lose a bit doing so.

Perhaps it's my monitor that isn't bright enough...
