View Full Version : natural light portraits - would love feedback to help me improve.

I've been reading, browsing, practicing and so on like crazy for quite a while now. Here are some random shots from the past couple weeks... would love some input to help me improve. Specifically, as I'm just using natural light for now, I'd love any tips that will help me find optimal lighting for portraits.

I think you use natural light rather well. No bad shadows, nice even lighting. Good composition. I don't know if it is my monitor, the way the photos transferred to a smaller format, or washed out lighting but a few of them looked washed out in the face. Probably something that can be fixed in pp but I'm not good at that sort of thing. Maybe others can help with that.
