Was up at the NY/NJ Scenic lookout on the Palisades Parkway. Saw two of these, what I first thought were hawks by the cliffs. Snapped a few shots. When I cropped the first - looks like this guys got a red, featherless head? Maybe a vulture?
Any guesses?

Turkey vulture no doubt.
Or turkey buzzard on the other side of the pond.
