I know it has happend to me. Once finding this forum my thirst for knowledge has caused me to spend more time (including at work) reading than actually taking pictures. Who else has this happened to?

CDS no need for you to vote as it is doubtful that you even have time to eat, much less take pictures.

Unfortunately I had to tick the top box, sad isn't it! Spend more time talking about it than actually doing it, well at least today I'm going to get out and take some pics.

My first couple of months registered here, I shot not too many images, and kept reading up on comparisons between 300D and 20D. It was driving me crazy, as I didn't have enough money together to get a decent package.
Finally, I got it 2 weeks ago, and since then, have been shooting lots, rather than visiting the forums. So perhaps a typical day off work, browsing forums for an hour, and shooting photos for hours and hours.
It will wear back down to as it used to be. Another couple of weeks, and I'll be browsing more than shooting again.
I second the CDS comment. :)

I can check in here at work, where I can't be photographing.

Dito
And when I'm at home on the weekend, after my 2 sons (2years/6months) are finally in bed, it's too dark to shoot outside.
Best regards,

Well, my wife calls it an addiction. I just find it fascinating to look at other places/people/etc. But it doesn't really detract from my photograpy, just my work...

With the cold wet weather we have been having for the past few months my old body enjoys the seat in front of the computer.

I've been a member for a whopping three days, and I haven't taken too many pictures in that time.
During the week, I'll probably only take three or four shots. My plan, though, is to head out on weekend photo excursions...

Since I found, I spend more time at forum than taking pictures or anythign else :-), but thats explainable. I am logged in all the time from work when there is no chance for shooting :-)
Plus, being a s/w engineer by profession, I log on my laptop (& hence this forum) so much from home also :-)
For shooting I am dependent on weekends & it has been so cold & rainy lately, especially since I got 20D, not even a single clear weekend .. :-(
Hope to get better days soon ..

I think those of us who spend a good deal of time here are not really even talking about photography, but are just hanging out. This is our local watering hole...a pub with photographer friends. :)
