Took this picture of a Killdeer a couple of weekends ago. I've been wanting to go back and try again, but the weather here has been pretty nasty.

My question to you Tammie, is why would you what to go back to try again, unless it was to get another shot as perfect as this one is? :D Awsome shot. What lens did you use?

Dave, I used a 100-400mmL. I had a great time, but only came away with 2 really good killdeer photos and missed the meadowlark.
Thanks to all for all the nice comments.

Great shot! I got a few pictures of one of these birds a couple months ago, but the bird wasn't cooperating with me and I didn't get any nearly as good as yours.

Very nice capture. I'm going to be working hard to get one near as great as that.
Thanks
