I have public liability insurance with Photoguard. It makes sure that, if someone injures themselves and it's my fault, I am covered for up to £1,000,000 damages and that equates to peace of mind!

Imdemnification, Indemnification insurance (sp?) which basically insures you in case something like a memory card is damaged or something happens where you might lose all the images and they try to sue you.

You can get it through PPA membership.

I have my equipment insured and public liability insurance. In the US lots of places won't let you take photos without it. Here it's just covering my butt, in case I manage to burn a place down or something.

I don't think it would cover your firing if he isn't happy with your pictures! ;) If he isn't hiring a pro, and you've never shot a wedding before, I'd be careful of the position/expectations. Just make sure he is aware of your skill set.

Yea very true! I have shown him examples of my images so he knows my skills
