9 month old ideas?

I have a session next weekend for a 9 month old. It has been a long time since i have photographed that age. I would love to see sample shots of children around that age to get some ideas flowing with me. Thanks :)

I have a 9 month old daughter at home and gave up on any sort of studio environment two weeks ago. She just keeps moving, won't play with the toys we offered her for the shoot and would not even be so kind and look at us or my camera :p When she noticed my camera she'd crawl right towards me and try to touch the front lens :lol:

My recommendation would be you focus on candid shots and try to set up your lights so they are not too position dependent.

baby in a wash tub- always adorable
have a bucket of toys they can explore- you can capture great shots while the make a mess
an assistant blowing bubbles to the baby- be careful can make a great mess
parental unit laying on floor playing with them is priceless.

A cute low stool can be used for some standing shots. They just use it to balance.

these are not my photos.. and if this woman is on this forum.. i have incredible respect for her and her work.

Some of the ideas may be usable although I'm glad I do my own work now. :D
