That means that used 10D's should start going for about $600-700. I mean, if you can pick up a brand new Rebel XT for under $1000...and it really is THAT much better...then the 10D's should go dirt cheap.
So, who wants to sell their 10D for $600?

10Ds were allready going for about 600-700 used a wile back ,. (they may have levelled off again)
When I tried to sell mine,. (right after the 20D hit the shelves) I had to include TONS of extra stuff to get it to sell for a reasonable price ...

All is not lost..remember there are plenty of people just waiting to get the bits falling from the sky over this latest mauling. And i say that in the nices of ways.:D
I as yet dont have a DSLR but it is looking more & more affordable each day to get hold of a reasonable camera. Having been chained to a P&S for that past 18 months i would treasure any canon DSLR.

I wonder whether the 10D is now officially discontinued or not. It's still listed on http://www.canoneos.com along with the 300D, 350D and 20D.
It looks like the 300D is not (yet) discontinued - Canon is going to continue producing and selling the 300D along with the 350D. But the 10D is now really starting to look outdated...
Anyway, I'll be waiting for the 20D's successor (the 50D, essentially a 20D but with an 11 or 12 MP 1.6x crop factor sensor, that would be nice) before I upgrade my 10D. So I'm not yet going to sell my 10D.
