Why do you think it's overdone? I think it looks good.

Well it looks fake I guess, I sorta like the HDRs where you can't tell they are HDRs and aren't tone mapped etc.
Anyways will keep plugging away and keep posting as long as you guys are happy to provide feedback.

Well, yeah, it looks a little fake, but that's the beauty of it. Even your eye can not see the dynamic range a true HDR can achieve. Well, it can, but it can't compute the data the same way a program can, evening out the highlights and shadows. That's always going to look fake to our eye. :)

HDR is gonna look fake and i never could understand the "real" look... if you tone map the scene to bring out all the details you otherwise couldnt, it looks fake.. this is a great scene...good job!!

Thanks guys am working on a panoramic here in the main square of Bogota, but getting all the shots together is proving difficult. Hopefully done by next week, luckily I only live 5 mins from the sq so I wander down every evening at 5:30 to catch the sunset.
Biggest problem is all the thieves looking at me when I pull out the camera and tripod. Thanks for the feedback.
ps am not against tone mapping there are some amazing images in here, which I am far from producing myself.
But only being in the game for 2 years I have alot to learn. Been travelling in South America for 2 years now have lots of photos!
