Hi there- hoping to get some advice from some of you regarding wrapping pregnant belly's with material- what do you use to hold the material in place?

TIA

I've been taking studio style pics of my pregnant wife (8 months) quite a bit lately. She's a costumer in film/tv so we've got the proper materials laying around the house. What the pro's use is called "top stick" and it's a double sided adhesive tape made to keep toupees on the head. It sticks to skin nicely and peels off clothing easily. It is sold in small sheets in either dots or strips, the strips are easier to work with. Since I happen to have the stuff laying around I don't know where to find it but you should be able to locate some at a wig shop.
Also, you could use spirit gum but it is not as easy to apply or remove.

That's a great idea thanks...will see if I can find it....much appreciated.
I'm in Australia so I am guessing everyone will look at me like "what?" lol...but actually that has given me another idea (I'm an actor as well so I think I might know where I can get it or something similar) thanks!

you may want to try closepins ... they are cheap and work great...
