New Coolermaster HAF 932

Wow this is a really nice case, good looking and great cooling. There were no filters that came with the case, but I put my own filters on the front 230mm fan.. picked up those vent filters at home depot.

Plain stock out of the box:

Decided to paint he inside purple!

Finished product, I did not like the red LED fan in front, so I removed the red LEDs, and moved the clear fan to the side window.

I really like that case, with all those cutouts at the motherboard backplate for easy cable management. Is your CPU cooler a Zalman 9700? Also, what GPU will you get? I am assuming you will since your PSU is 700 watts. As for filters, you can use spent laundry fabric softener sheets, just put them in front of your intake fans.

Great case, this is going to be my next one! I have a CM690 by the way.

Coolness, ya that's a Zalman 9700CNPS NT.

Looks like a very clean install... it also looks heavy. My Antec 900 is packed in there really tight with too much crud :)

Very cool looking case.

Did it come with all 3 fans, or have you added a couple?

Cool. They now have the Antec 1200 which I think your case falls in the same size category with.

Looking at your case gave me the motivation to put together a computer from spare parts - I'm such a nerd

Old Antiquated Antec Case that weighs 20lbs
Core2Duo 3.0Ghz CPU
XFX nForce 680i LT
4Gb Crucial 1033Mhz DDR2 RAM
74Gb Raptor
500Gb Seagate HD
NVidia 8600 256Mb
Cool Master 460w PS

lol... a tech :p

I upgrade my main PC system every six months (Core2Duo 3.0Ghz was left over as was Orb II heat sink and moved to 300Gb VelociRaptor)... the memory was dead purchased at a open market that I RMAed to Crucial and got back new sticks no questions asked, the motherboard was the only new purchase which I got from CompUSA (local warehouse, not online) which I used a $50 credit to get and the rest was just laying around. I still have enough parts to put together a full AMD X2 4400 w/ 2Gb and maybe another AMD if I can find the CPU among all my junk.

All the money I make from working for local papers and contract computer work in the summers goes directly to my extreme tech habit... My wife doesn't complane since I just give her my old parts like iPod's and iPhone Edge when I got the 3G. I'm so spoiled

LOL

Your spare parts list just needs a Q6600 in it and it would be as good, if not better than my main machine

To me a spare parts list would cobble together something outdated.
For example I had enough spare parts left after rebuilding my own, and 2 friends PC's that I was able to put together a very basic P4 (single core 3ghz) machine with a 40GB IDE Hard drive and 1GB of assorted ram and an early nVidia PCI-E graphics card (I think it's a 6600), so my better half can play WoW.

And I still have a complete AMD 2600XP system with an ATi 9550 and about 1gb of ram that just needs a decent power supply.

As soon as the 3Ghz quads start coming down in price I'll likely upgrade my main PC and move my current quad to the parts machine. The only thing I'm going to use if for is to server farm rendering with Adobe After Effects... My wife looked at me funny when I said that (I'm a Final Cut Studio guy ... but AE is just so nice to work with). Then again, I might just sell it to put into the new MacBook Pro fund
