Just wondering whats the largest CF card it can take...

If I'm not mistaken it's 2GB. Limited by the fact that it uses the FAT system for addressing. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

Yes, you are correct, the D30 (and the D60) can address a max of 2 GB because it only recogizes the FAT-16 format. The 10D and later models recognize both the FAT-16 and the FAT-32 formats so they can address more than 2 GB.

1GB card (which definately works, I've tried) gives you TONS of images!
About 800 Large fine jpegs or approx 280 RAW.

A 2GB UltraII card formatted and functioned as well, and offered 541 RAW files :shock:
