Pinup shoot with girlfriend, questions...

I am doing a pin up shoot with my gf tomorrow and i need some suggestions with poses and propes. right now all we have is a boa, which seems kind of lacking. This shoot is for a college project and she and i would both like to keep it classy. thanks :)

I'm a big fan of the classic pinup, Vargas etc, check out Bernie Dexter (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=249256), usually shot by her husband Levi. There should be a few good examples in her pic albums. She is one of my favorite modern pinup models. Truely a throwback to Ms Bettie Page.

For the poses, classic pinups were as much about the legs as any other part of the body, so be sure to emphasize those. As far as props go, you can do pin-ups with just about anything, but some items I've seen are cigarrette holders, champagne flutes, hats, fishnet stockings, bearskin rugs, men's shirts, garter belts and hose, etc. The list goes on and on. In my opinion, pinup is more about the poses and the lighting than it is the props.
