Folks, any of you have experience using Exhibit Engine 2 and Gallery2 ?
Both looks very capable and good for image hosting . I want to start new,
and want the better of these two. Any comparison or suggestion from experience will help ? Which one will let me host my images easily ?
Thanks

Neither. I use ZenPhoto (http://www.zenphoto.org/). Much easier to use than the two you mention. Gallery2 in particular was REEAAALLLLY slow on my web host, so I gave up on it.

Exhibit Engine is pretty simple (and free). It does take a bit of effort to get it installed and set up, but it's worth it.

Just make sure you follow the instructions to the letter and it'll work fine.

I don't know anything about Gallery2.

I am using Gallery 2 and find it quite good. I have just upgraded to the latest version (2.3) and am looking at the Commerce features to see if they can useful to my site.

I have not had experience with EE2 but a friend has it running (::John::). When I was looking at gallery software he said it was fiddly to sent up but great once running.

I don't know if I'm posting at the right forum section but I'm a student and

donation I cann't find a download link enywhere. I hope I have not been crooked.
Please can someone help me in locating a copy of the EE2. I can see a link for
upgrading to 2.x but I haven't even installed any basic version.
