I found this thing on a bush and seriously almost missed it. It was on a branch and blended very good. I moved it to a leaf so my flash could reach it a little better but I still failed to get a descend shot.

it looks like new sprouts of the bush/plant/tree.

It moved??? I'd say it's a walking stick (http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_hoppers/StickInsect.htm) bug.

It moved and had 6 legs. Ugly little fella. I have just never seen a face like this before. Thanks for the link

After some searching, I'd say it looks like the "male parts" of a walking stick.
