A friend of mine was returning from working in Barcelona so I decided to fly out and share the drive home with him, I also wanted to see the new Viaduct that now spans the Georges Du Tarn at Millau. Unfortunately we didn’t get the timing right so the light was terrible and we only had time to cross the bridge rather than go down into the valley (this picture was taken by stopping illegally on the motorway). The bottom line on this is that I will head back in the summer. This is a stunning bridge, for more of my pictures from the trip click here:- http://www.neil-rice.com/gallery/list.php?exhibition=45 (http://www.neil-rice.com/gallery/list.php?exhibition=45)

Hi Neil
Great shot, shame about the weather thou. The bridge is truly a masterpiece of engineering, hopefuly one day I will get to cross it myself.

I saw a documentary on TV a couple weeks ago showing how it was built. Those French engineers are some very smart guys.

Nice shot.
