Are the eyes too much?

Did I dodge the eyes too much? all advice and opinions greatly appreciated. The crop is so tight on the top left as her hair was sticking out everywhere.

With a small image like this, i'd say it's ok... Not sure about when viewed larger, though.

My stand with kids mostly is keep them as pure as possible to make them less "cliche" in photographs.

Maybe -- I'd need to see a much larger version to be sure, but she looks a bit flat around the eyes, as if the light was too even.

If you crop the bottom of this in to just under the chin, it will remove the distraction of the dress and help focus on the face.

Thanks for the feedback. The dodging on the eyes is more than I usually do - I've got this real phobia about getting the "children of the corn" look. The photo was take on a bright cloudy day so the light was very even, I see what you mean about it being a bit flat. I think coz it is so light that makes it worse too. I thought about cropping the dress of, but I'm not sure if it would make her look like she was had no clothes on. This is another edit.

I think the b and w is beautiful - eyes are perfect. In terms of the color one, you're the best judge of that - what do her eyes look like in real life?
