I've got 63 images to show to a client via the web, from which she'll select perhaps 6.

Is that too many to deliver, generally?

As a rule, how many images do you show as proofs for a Senior Shoot?

BTW, here's one of the shots:

I don't think it's too many, given that there's a good mix of locations, poses, wardrobe changes, etc. I'm assuming that the 63 are your final edit from a greater number of shots, yes? Typically, I choose 50 to 75 best shots from about 200 to 300 in a 2 to 3 hour shoot.

I shoot about 100 in a 3 hour shoot (indoors studio & outdoor) and they will end up seeing approx 30 of them. If we just do and indoor or outdoor (1-1/2hrs) I will shoot about 70 and they will see 18-24 proofs

^^

I think when I'm not sure what I'm doing, I shoot more frames.

You shoot ~30/hour, avg, I shot ~150/hour, five times as much, and I paid for it in time cleaning up the junk. And I'll pay for it again when she can't decide what to keep and calls me.
