Hi folks,
I have read the sticky and was just wondering if any fellow POTN aussies could recommend good all-round photography insurance?
Specifically I am looking for equipment insurance plus public liability. I am about to shoot a few weddings and want to make sure my gear is covered for both theft and little kids running around willy nilly!
cheers :)

I don't know about Australia, try calling an insurance broker or two and ask them if they have photographers equipment and public liability insurance. I expect you'll be paying around $1000 per year. Hopefully an aussie pro can help you out.

BJWOK: Check out AON: http://www.aon.com.au/
I am using them at the moment. Wasn't too expensive and the coverage seems good.
I know allot of other people using it also.
Chris.

Some is available through professional organizations: PPA vs WPPI vs WPJA (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=449879)

That's a good point Frank, I bought my insurance through the broker recommended by my local professional organisation.

AON get a good rap, mine's through NRMA/CGU business insurance for the now until I get around to switching it across to AON once I move. I've had several frustrating encounters with NRMA's customer service and while the policy and price are great the people I've called have been downright rude on two occasions.
