Our little girl was born last Tuesday at 12:56 PM and tipped the scales at 7 pounds 12 ounces. I have been without a computer (thanks to a bad HDD) since last weekend. My CF cards were full. This is our 5th AND LAST child. We've already got enough for a basketball team. Mom, baby, brothers, sisters and dad are doing well. Anyway, here's our little angel.

This was taken through the little clear plexiglass "bed" they keep them in while in your room.

Here are a few more updated pics. These are SOOC, except #3 and I cloned the prick marks on her heel. That's it. They could use a bit of tweaking, but I'm not in the mood right now. Just wanted to share my little angel.

1. My wife made me put this shot in because of her dimples. Samantha's, not my wifes.

Here's the lighting setup. I had an AB800 at 1/32nd power. Camera was 40D with 16-35 2.8II. It's a remarkable lens, but just a bit wide for me.

Thanks. There were a lot of cute babies in the past few weeks around the POTN community. We've had that name for a while. We kept calling our 3 year old Samantha before we delivered. That's a strange name for a boy. They said he was a girl. Oh well. We were finally able to throw a little pink around the house.

Beautiful little girl Kevin,congratulations. I saw the Lebanon, OH, and it reminded me of years ago growing up in Cincy, and the old Cash Amburgy from south lLebanon Ohio commercials, where you save cash with cash...LOL

Congratulations on a beautiful baby! Lovely photos of her. :)

One little tip, now that you have a tiny one... their skin tends to take on a magenta tone with flash for some reason... Sometimes I pull a little magenta out of the red channel using selective color.. to get it looking more natural. This could be her color, but if you are having any problems adjusting it, this should work. :)
