Hey i was wondering what is the best way to get photos from a Canon (not digital) camera to the pc?

Well even a cheap desktop scanner can give pretty good results these days.
If you're looking to transfer a whole roll of pictures on an unprocessed film, you might find a lab that will do a Kodak Photo CD & prints for a reasonable price, (or somethig similar).

If you have prints you want on the computer, a flatbed scanner will do that for you. If you have slides and negatives, you'll need a film scanner. Flatbeds are relatively inexpensive, but a decent film scanner will cost you quite a bit more.

If you don't have a lot, most photo shops will scan them to CD for you.

use a lab, not a drug store to start
most labs offer the ability to put images to cd at the time of developing at a MUCH lower cost then taking negs/slides to them after the fact... so check out your local shops
