just a look at magnification with the 1.6 and 1.0 sensors - no processing, not an IQ comparison as subject awkwardly placed in a gloomy location so focus not critical. Moth is 30mm from wing tip to wing tip.
Is there anything I can feed this Plume moth or do they go without as adults?

attempt at 3 shot stack with Helicon software. Got to hate the lamp on the Canon ringflash - always goes out just as you are about to achieve focus - ideally it would be able to stay on after a shot too.

Show a 5D can have it's uses with an MPE-65 lens. Supposedly it also offers the ability of a 2 stop advantage before diffraction problems start but suspect that's ignoring the print magnification differences.
