who knows for sure whether the G1 autofocus works stepless or in 30 steps as stated at
http://www.students.tut.fi/~vahonen/computer/digiphoto/DOF/ ???
If it uses 30 steps to set the focus then why do people complain about a relatively high percentage of fotos that are out of focus? especially if you use tele-zoom and/or close-up lenses (and end up with a quite narrow DOF)),
the focus seems quite dependent on the camera's position in relation to the distance/focus step.
any thoughts on that?
