So I got my new Canon 50D on Thursday at work. That same night I decided to do a quick photoshoot. Wow, what an upgrade from a 350D, really digging this camera's low light performance. Onto the pics:

Such sharp quality...
I'm guess these have been retouched in PS?

Very nice pictures. Do you think these kind of pictures are also possible with an EOS 40D?

It is funny you should say that they are sharp. I would say that the camera is capable of doing even better. When I shot this series it was right after a happy hour so I am sure I wasn't holding my camera as steady as I should ;)
I did very minor PP mostly levels and some horizontal correction. The AWB on the 50D is spot on.

Hey i got the 50d too, what software are you using for processing? I used to use lightroom, but i'm not sure about camera raw 4.6 on 50d. I read that CS4 PHOTOSHOP COMES WITH CAMERA RAW 5.0, and LR2 and others will get camera raw 5.1 in a few weeks, but that sucks cuz this is preventing me from shooting a bit more.
However, many on the forum recommended using DPP, and it works!
